Conways Kildavin is a family run pub and restaurant, situated at the foot of Mount Leinster and the start of the South Leinster way walking trail.

Conway’s Bar and Restaurant is well known for its top quality homestyle food, using seasonal and locally sourced produce. Food is served daily, Tuesday to Sunday. All parties and events catered for with the option for private functions. Please see their Facebook page for their sample menus. Conway’s is steeped in history and have created beautiful private snugs, warm fires and beautiful polished antique furniture and rest rooms.

After your lovely meal, why not explore the small, picturesque village of Kildavin. Kildavin offers beauty, peace, and unspoilt scenery synonymous with Ireland’s Ancient East as well as the opportunity to explore its rich and varied past, in holy wells, church ruins and simple country life.

Come and join the Ballon Rambling House in the Ballon GAA Centre this April!

Starting on April 28th 2024, 7.30pm to 11pm, the event will run on the last Sunday of each month thereafter. Hosted by Siopa Glas Ballon, this monthly event is perfect for storytellers, musicians, and listeners alike.

Refreshments and a raffle will take place during each monthly event.

Following sell-out runs in Kilkenny and Dublin, ‘Letters From The Front’ written by Don O’Connor and Ollie Hennessey and presented by Cloud 9 Productions will be in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, at Visual, Carlow from 1st – 4th May.
This original musical drama tells the story of three families, caught up in the turmoil of World War One.

Award winning West End leading lady Rebecca Storm will recreate her role as Frau Breitner and for this run the cast will be joined by renowned Ukranian baritone Maksym Lozovyi.

‘Letters from the Front’ is a story of love, hope, despair, and loss. Inspired by real letters written by soldiers and family members from 1914-1918, this poignant drama promises to leave audiences in awe. From Wednesday May 1st to May 4th this is a show you don’t want to miss.
