Following sell-out runs in Kilkenny and Dublin, ‘Letters From The Front’ written by Don O’Connor and Ollie Hennessey and presented by Cloud 9 Productions will be in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, at Visual, Carlow from 1st – 4th May.
This original musical drama tells the story of three families, caught up in the turmoil of World War One.

Award winning West End leading lady Rebecca Storm will recreate her role as Frau Breitner and for this run the cast will be joined by renowned Ukranian baritone Maksym Lozovyi.

‘Letters from the Front’ is a story of love, hope, despair, and loss. Inspired by real letters written by soldiers and family members from 1914-1918, this poignant drama promises to leave audiences in awe. From Wednesday May 1st to May 4th this is a show you don’t want to miss.

If you are planning a mid-week break in Carlow then add a Wednesday Wander to your list of things to do when you visit. Organised by County Carlow Sports Partnership, these hugely popular walks are back and take place at 10 a.m. on the dates outlined below.

Each walk lasts about one hour and take place in some of Carlow’s most popular attractions with activator poles and training available. A post-walk chat takes place over tea and coffee. Whether you're a seasoned walker or just starting out, these Wednesday Wanders are designed for everyone. Come for the exercise, stay for the fun!

▪️Oak Park Carlow - May 1st - Accessible to All
▪️Clogrennane Woods - May 8th - Moderate Difficultly
▪️Rathwood - May 15th - Accessible to All
▪️St. Mullin's - May 22nd - Accessible to All - Meeting Point TBC

Voluntary contribution of €2.50 (or whatever you can afford) per walk. This can be done at the time of booking or collected on the day. Ready to take make new friends and get active?
